The Pathfinders’ Society is a group of adventurers and thrill-seekers who define the meaning behind a MONSTER and TREASURE HUNTING guild. They are set in Loch Boldihr, a town within the island Duban Kibil, home to Wildhammer dwarves.
The group initially started out as a mere fellowship founded by Eltaor and Anameleth in an attempt to nullify common threats and make a sanctuary for those with mutual goals in mind. Their quest so far has bought them to Duban Kibil, the island Eltaor calls home and their first headquarters where they met Evelyna and formed the fellowship into more; a company. With that in mind, they remain true to their goals: To discover artefacts of power before the enemies can and store them away and to protect those that cannot protect themselves.
Missions:mob bounties, creature combat, urgent help notices, gather/exploration quests, subtlety missions, and adventures. Recruitment: interested folk can be recruited through a private interview or via quests, but will still need to undergo a TRAINING scenario.
While the guild is free to use the island’s grounds and take advantage of what the town, Loch Boldihr, has to offer, they are not officially represented by the township and neither do they represent it. Therefore, it is important not to act as vigilantes and enforce some sort of law. The guild is not responsible for every threat present outside Loch Boldihr; they are mere thrill-seekers hired to deal with a number of inconveniences and taking responsibility only for the tasks they accept. The Society does not enforce rules within the village’s grounds that it occupies. It takes on tasks and quests some factions, the town or the Alliance itself provides it with, such as clearing certain areas or recovering lost treasures and artefacts.
The members are not mercenaries and thus do not take any killing contracts unless it’s under very special circumstances that directly involve the guild. If someone does such a thing, it will -not- be under the group’s name.
The Society has its own uniquely diverse membership and unusual associates, occasionally causing some conflict due to personal beliefs. At the end of the day, diversity is the mother of conflict, and conflict is what allows growth. However different, they shall all treat each other with respect.
TRIAL: An unofficial member rank in which the participant is not fully a member, but has gone through the required documentation and introduction of the Pathfinders' Society. A trial is required to take part in a specific event with other trials (or on their own if the number is insufficient, accompanied by a supervisor) in order to be tested if they're able to become full fledged members of the Pathfinders. It entails being tested in a combat-centered system to oversee their attention and ability to make fast-paced decisions, as well as their will to cooperate with the supervisors, collaborative skill, primary goal focus and prioritisation. Failing the trial exam subjects the recruit to either suspension or retrial depending on the severity and task.
chaotic encounters between the Society members are discouraged
do not carry out any unwarranted actions in the name of the group if it is not approved
banter among members is fine as long as it is not deadly or disables your usefulness
all retrieved items are registered and it is not a good idea to take any without permission
all items found during a quest should be reported to the others, unless it's a ticking bomb - then throw it away in the opposite direction
keep controversial information classified, and the members' identities if they wish to
it is not a good idea to partake in a mission while intoxicated
maintain respectful consideration and necessary consultation of the founders
BENEFITS: You will receive jobs, tasks or any other information via Dawi – Anameleth or Eltaor, those being in the highest of order. Either that or through Redoul, Anameleth’s current assistant.
free maintenance from Dawi on all of the members' gear and discounts on new items

money and/or other valuables after completing a task, depending on the rewards offered
